Leckerman Law is dedicated to protecting the rights of those accused of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Driving After Imbibing (DAI), and drunk driving related criminal offenses. Attorney Leckerman helped to change the law in New Jersey concerning witnesses who collect and test blood samples in DWI investigations. He is certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to administer the same Standardized Field Sobriety Tests used by police in DUI / DWI investigations. He has received extensive training concerning breath testing and blood testing for blood alcohol concentration (BAC) in order to discover the flaws that exist in the prosecution’s testing procedures and results.

No Case Is Too Small Or Too Large!

Effectively defending DUI and DWI cases requires having technical knowledge and skills that the general criminal defense attorney usually lacks. Often, the prosecution uses the resources of new breath testing technology and forensic laboratory testing in order to prove its cases. Typically, these new technologies and laboratories go unchallenged by an attorney who is unfamiliar with the scientific intricacies involved. It takes constant education and training concerning these varied methods of breath, urine, and blood testing in order to expose the flaws of a prosecutor’s DUI / DWI case. That is why Attorney Kevin Leckerman has exclusively dedicated his legal practice to the area of DUI / DWI defense.

Attorney Leckerman has received training in the methods of forensic testing of blood and urine for the presence of drugs and alcohol, including headspace gas chromatography and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. During his career, he has defended over a thousand DUI and DWI cases involving blood and breath testing devices. The DUI / DWI breath testing devices utilized included the Breathalyzer and Alcotest 7100 MK III-C. He has also received training from the manufacturer of the Alcotest 7110 MK III-C in its operation. This DWI breath testing machine is used exclusively throughout the State of New Jersey. Additionally, Kevin is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense and other DUI / DWI attorney groups that routinely meet throughout the country in order to discuss innovations in defending DUI/DWI clients.

Being Charged With A DUI / DWI Is A Serious Matter. You Need An Attorney Who Will Make Sure That The Police And Prosecution Are Kept In Check Through Every Step Of The Legal Process. Leckerman Law Promises To Aggressively And Creatively Defend The Rights Of Each Client.

Warren Township is a township in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. In July 2009, CNNMoney.com ranked Warren sixth in the nation on its list of “Best Places to Live” in the United States, citing in particular its schools, June carnival (the Lions Club’s annual “Expo”), “wide open spaces” (generally 1.5 acres (0.61 ha) per house), 74 “working farms” (“taxed-as-farmland” tracts, but rural, nevertheless), and proximity to New York City. One of the most attractive communities in New Jersey, Warren Township was voted in 2013 #1 Best Place to Live in Central New Jersey and #2 in the State of New Jersey. Originally, Warren Township was inhabited by the Lenape Indians. European farmers settled the territory in the early 1700’s; and in 1806 Warren was carved from part of surrounding towns and incorporated. The town was named after General Joseph Warren who was a hero of the Battle of Bunker Hill during the American Revolution. Warren Township has 19.3 square miles. It is nestled in the Watchung Mountains.

Once described as “the greenest place in New Jersey”, Warren Township residents and elected officials are working to keep its rural character and charm while recognizing that there will be growth due to the town’s beauty, favorable property taxes and strategic location. Less than 35 miles to Manhattan makes Warren Township a favorite suburb for commuters to New York City. Businesses and residents alike chose Warren as their home because of the access to major roads and resources. Warren is positioned between route 78, route 22 and route 287. It is close to major shopping centers and great restaurants. Warren Township is the location of over 600 businesses. These include restaurants, retail, and manufacturing & office occupancies. The Master Plan has kept our commercial and industrial growth to only a few main streets. Most of the commercial property is found on Mountain Boulevard, Mount Bethel and Sterling Road.
